# İznik

> A remote terminal with a cross-platform GPUI front end. Your SSH, a server on the host, panes that survive a dropped link. Linux, macOS, Windows.

Sessions, tabs and panes live in the server. One SSH channel per host carries every pane. Pane output is the pseudoterminal’s raw bytes, rendered by the application with libghostty-vt. The command line never draws a screen.
